Description

Handle automotive restoration, fabrication, maintenance, and home workshop projects with the Eastwood MIG 180 Dual-Voltage MIG Welder. Designed for gas-shielded MIG and gasless flux-core welding, this portable inverter machine delivers an adjustable output of up to 180 amps while weighing just 25.3 pounds.

Automatic dual-voltage operation allows you to connect to a 120V outlet for lighter repairs or use 240V power for the machine’s full welding output. Independent voltage and wire-speed controls make it easy to fine-tune the arc for different materials, wire types, and thicknesses.

Choose standard 2T operation for shorter welds, 4T mode to reduce trigger fatigue during longer passes, or Tack mode to produce consistent half-second tack welds. The metal wire-drive system accommodates 4-inch and 8-inch spools and supports solid steel, stainless steel, and flux-core wire.

The MIG 180 welds mild and stainless steel from 24 gauge up to 5/16 inch on 240V. It is also compatible with an optional Eastwood spool gun for welding aluminum from 14 gauge to 1/4 inch. Overload protection, commonly available Tweco-style consumables, and a three-year Eastwood warranty make it a practical choice for DIY welders and experienced fabricators.
