Description

Built for demanding fabrication and industrial cutting applications, the Razorweld RAZORCUT 80i delivers serious plasma-cutting power in a compact, transportable package. Its 20–80 amp output range makes it suitable for sheet-metal fabrication, automotive work, equipment repair, maintenance, ducting, and heavy workshop use.

The non-high-frequency pilot arc allows the torch to establish an arc before contacting the workpiece, providing greater control when cutting curved, uneven, painted, or perforated metal. The included J100XC plasma torch features a secure Euro-style connection and a 19.5-foot lead, giving operators greater reach around large workpieces.

For automated fabrication, built-in CNC connections allow the RAZORCUT 80i to operate with a compatible CNC plasma table. Selectable 2T and 4T torch controls also provide greater comfort and control during both short cuts and longer cutting passes.

At full output, the RAZORCUT 80i provides a clean cut through mild steel up to 1 inch thick. The machine can cut electrically conductive materials including mild steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, and copper. Full 80-amp performance requires an appropriate three-phase electrical supply and clean, dry compressed air.

Cutting Capacity
Material Published Cutting Capacity
Mild steel Up to 1 in. clean cut
Stainless steel Capacity varies by material and cutting conditions
Aluminum Capacity varies by material and cutting conditions
Copper and brass Capacity varies by material and cutting conditions
Cast iron Capacity varies by material and cutting conditions

Razorweld’s current U.S./Canada brochure publishes a 1-inch clean-cut capacity for mild steel but does not provide separate severance ratings for each material. Actual results depend on input power, air quality, material type, consumable condition, torch height, and travel speed.
