Description

Take on auto restoration, fabrication, repairs, and general workshop projects with the Eastwood MIG 180 Welder with Spool Gun. This portable machine supports gas-shielded MIG and gasless flux-core welding, while the included spool gun adds aluminum MIG capability without requiring a separate accessory purchase.

Automatic dual-voltage operation lets you use convenient 120V power for lighter projects or connect to 240V power for the full 180-amp output. IGBT inverter technology keeps the machine lightweight at just over 25 pounds while delivering a smooth, controllable welding arc.

Independent voltage and wire-speed controls allow precise adjustment for different materials and thicknesses. Select standard 2T operation for shorter welds, 4T mode to reduce trigger fatigue during longer passes, or timed Tack mode for consistent half-second tack welds on sheet metal and plug-weld applications.

The MIG 180 welds mild and stainless steel up to 5/16 inch thick and aluminum up to 1/4 inch with the included spool gun. A metal wire-drive system, tool-free polarity changes, Tweco-style consumables, overload protection, and a three-year Eastwood warranty make it a versatile package for both developing welders and experienced fabricators.

Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Eastwood MIG 180 is backed by a three-year limited manufacturer’s warranty covering qualifying defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.

The warranty does not cover consumables unless they are determined to be defective. Damage caused by abuse, neglect, improper installation, improper care, abnormal operation, or inadequate maintenance is also excluded.

Proof of purchase is required, and customers must contact Eastwood to obtain a return authorization before sending equipment for warranty evaluation. Shipping costs to and from Eastwood may be the customer’s responsibility.
