Eastwood Versa-Cut 60 Plasma Cutter

Description

Cut sheet metal, brackets, automotive panels, and heavy plate with the Eastwood Versa-Cut 60 Plasma Cutter. Its dual-voltage design operates from either 120V or 240V power, giving you the flexibility to handle lighter repairs from a standard outlet or access the full 60-amp output from a properly equipped 240V circuit.

The pilot arc provides quick arc initiation and allows the torch to cut rusty, painted, and expanded metal more effectively. Adjustable amperage and a digital display make it easy to match the output to the material, while selectable 2T and 4T torch modes provide better control during both short cuts and longer passes.

On 240V power, the Versa-Cut 60 has a published maximum material capacity of 7/8 inch. When connected to 120V power, it can cut material up to 3/16 inch. It works with electrically conductive materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

The included Trafimet CB70 torch features a 20-foot lead for greater reach around large projects. At less than 31 pounds, the Versa-Cut 60 delivers substantial cutting power in a portable package suited to automotive restoration, fabrication, maintenance, and demanding home workshops.

Specifications

Full 60-amp output and maximum cutting capacity require a dedicated 240V, 50-amp circuit. A clean, dry external compressed-air supply is required.

Cutting Capacity

Actual cutting results depend on the material type and condition, input voltage, air quality, consumable condition, torch position, amperage, and travel speed. Eastwood publishes these figures as maximum material-thickness ratings rather than separate clean-cut and severance ratings.

An external air compressor is required and is not included. The compressor must provide clean, dry air at approximately 5–7 CFM and 60 PSI. 

Manufacturer’s Warranty

The Eastwood Versa-Cut 60 is backed by a three-year limited manufacturer’s warranty covering qualifying defects in materials and workmanship.

Consumables are excluded unless Eastwood determines they were defective. Damage caused by abuse, neglect, improper installation, abnormal operation, improper care, or inadequate maintenance is not covered.

Proof of purchase is required. Customers must contact Eastwood for a return authorization before submitting the equipment for warranty service. Eastwood determines whether an approved claim will be resolved through repair or replacement, and the customer may be responsible for shipping expenses.
